08:50 AM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tiptree ( TIPT ) shareholder Veradace Partners said Monday proxy advisory firms Glass Lewis and Egan-Jones Ratings have recommended company shareholders vote against the sale of Tiptree's ( TIPT ) US specialty insurer Fortegra Group to DB Insurance.

Veradace, which owns 5% of Tiptree's ( TIPT ) common stock and opposes the sale, reiterated its position that the proposed transaction would "destroy long-term value."

Tiptree's ( TIPT ) Special Meeting of Stockholders is scheduled for Dec. 3 to vote on the propsed transaction.

Earlier Monday, Tiptree ( TIPT ) said Institutional Shareholder Services recommended stockholders vote for the sale.

Tiptree ( TIPT ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires. Neither did Glass Lews nor Egan-Jones.

Shares of Tiptree ( TIPT ) were trading up 2% in recent Monday premarket activity.
