04:02 AM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tiptree ( TIPT ) subsidiary Fortegra Group said Wednesday it has received regulatory approval to establish a UK subsidiary.

The company said the Prudential Regulation Authority granted Fortegra a license to launch Fortegra Insurance Company UK, effective Nov. 29.

The approval lets Fortegra "significantly expand" its insurance underwriting services throughout the UK, the company said.
