TKO Group $335 Million Settlement With Former UFC Fighters Denied by Federal Judge

03:39 PM EDT, 07/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TKO Group ( TKO ) said in a filing Wednesday that a federal judge denied the motion for preliminary approval of a $335 million proposed settlement between TKO Operating and former UFC fighters in two separate class-action lawsuits.

The judge has set a status conference on Aug. 19 and a new trial date of Oct. 28 for one of the lawsuits and a motion to dismiss the second lawsuit is still pending with no scheduled trial date.

TKO Group ( TKO ) said it is evaluating all options including an appeal and is engaged in talks with the plaintiffs' counsel for separate settlement discussions.
