01:59 PM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Quoin Pharmaceuticals ( QNRX ) shares slumped 42% amid heavy trading after the company said on Tuesday it priced a $6.5 million offering of American depositary shares and warrants.

More than 3.41 million shares traded intraday versus a daily average of about 460,000.

Albemarle (ALB) said, late on Monday, that it started a $1.75 billion underwritten offering of depositary shares.

Shares slumped more than 12% as intraday trading volume climbed to over 7.95 million compared with a daily average of about 3.08 million.

Marc Benioff, chair and chief executive officer, sold 15,000 shares in Salesforce ( CRM ) for about $4.73 million on March 1, a regulatory filing from the company said on Tuesday.

Shares dropped 5.1%, with intraday trading volume at over 4.95 million versus a daily average of about 5.72 million.
