01:30 PM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ballard Power Systems ( BLDP ) shares slumped after the company said Monday its Q4 loss widened from a year earlier.

Shares declined 8.9% as intraday trading volume climbed to over 3.93 million from a daily average of about 2.99 million.

EQT (EQT) said Monday it was acquiring Equitrans Midstream (ETRN), a company it spun off about six years ago, in an all-stock deal to create a natural gas production and distribution company valued initially at $35 billion.

Shares fell 7.8%, with intraday trading volume at over 15.2 million versus a daily average of about 5.64 million.

Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) said Sunday it expects deliveries of Boeing's (BA) 737 Max 10 planes to be delayed to as late as 2027 due to federal safety and criminal reviews of the airplane manufacturer, Bloomberg News reported.

Shares of Boeing fell 3.1%, with trading volume at over 9.79 million compared with a daily average of about 9.52 million.
