02:47 PM EDT, 04/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WiSA Technologies ( WISA ) shares fell more than 28% after the company struck a $750,000 securities sale deal.

More than 14.5 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 4.54 million.

Lithium Americas ( LAC ) shares slid after the company said Thursday it priced a public offering of 55 million shares at $5 each to raise about $275 million.

Shares slumped 29%, with intraday trading volume at over 26.6 million shares versus a daily average of about 3.67 million.

Genetic Technologies ( GENE ) said it agreed to sell 1 million American depositary shares at $2 each in a registered direct offering. It will issue unregistered warrants to purchase up to 1 million ADSs in a concurrent private placement.

Shares sank 22%, with intraday trading volume at more than 68,000 versus a daily average of about 28,000.
