Akoustis Technologies ( AKTS ) reported net loss widened in fiscal Q3, and its sales growth fell short of market expectations.

Shares sank 23%, with intraday trading volume at more than 2.47 million versus a daily average of about 623,000.

Fortrea ( FTRE ) lowered its full-year revenue outlook on Monday as the clinical development and patient access solution provider's Q1 financial results missed market expectations.

Shares dropped nearly 17%, with intraday trading volume at over 5.9 million compared with a daily average of about 904,000.
