02:44 PM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- VivoPower ( VVPR ) shares tumbled nearly 24% after the company said Tuesday it signed an agreement to merge with Future Automotive Solutions and Technologies in an all-stock deal.

More than 16.4 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 2.06 million.

Accenture ( ACN ) is changing the appraisal timing structure to mid-year from year-end in a bid to align staffing with "better visibility" of client spending, the company said on Tuesday.

Accenture ( ACN ) also said Tuesday it invested in technology firm Martian through its Accenture Ventures unit. It did not disclose the financial terms of the investment.

Shares of Accenture ( ACN ) slid 4.4% as intraday trading volume climbed to over 3.01 million compared with the stock's daily average of about 2.96 million.

Netcapital ( NCPL ) reported, late on Monday, a wider fiscal Q1 loss and lower revenue.

Shares plunged 29% as intraday trading volume rose to over 379,000 versus the stock's daily average of about 162,000.
