Shares of the company slumped about 40% after midday, with trading volume at over 1 million shares.

General Mills ( GIS ) lowered its full-year earnings outlook even after the packaged-foods maker reported better-than-expected fiscal Q2 results.

Shares fell 3.5% as intraday trading volume climbed to more than 6.53 million from a daily average of roughly 3.75 million.

Sezzle ( SEZL ) shares sank 24% following a report by short-seller Hindenburg Research.

More than 392,000 shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 108,000.
