Shares surged past 86% in recent trading as intraday trading volume soared to over 146 million from a daily average of almost 40,000.

Ranpak Holdings ( PACK ) reported late Monday its annual loss substantially narrowed and net revenue jumped from a year earlier.

Shares jumped almost 42% as intraday trading volume shot to about 6.8 million from a daily average of about 468,000.

Oracle (ORCL) shares increased 12% intraday after the technology giant reported higher fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings and revenue.

More than 37 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 8.95 million.
