01:51 PM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Yield10 Bioscience ( YTEN ) said Thursday the Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service's biotechnology regulatory services have determined the company's Camelina sativa varieties to produce omega-3 fatty acids are not subject to certain regulations.

The regulator determined that the varieties may be grown and bred in the US.

Shares catapulted 67% as intraday trading volume soared to over 108.5 million from a daily average of about 2.51 million.

Reddit ( RDDT ) shares debuted on the New York Stock Exchange Thursday at $47, above their initial public offering price of $34 apiece.

Shares advanced 48% as intraday trading volume rose to more than 25 million.

Lufax Holding's ( LU ) shares surged 39% amid heavy trading after the company said its board recommended a special dividend of $2.42 per ADS.

More than 36 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 4.52 million.
