02:06 PM EDT, 03/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Intellicheck ( IDN ) shares surged 68% after the company late Thursday reported a profit in Q4 amid rising revenue.

More than 10 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 28,000.

Shares of Aurora Cannabis (ACB), Canopy Growth ( CGC ) , and other cannabis companies rose after Germany approved a partial legalization of cannabis for personal use, effective April 1.

Aurora advanced 22% as trading volume rose to over 9 million from a daily average of about 1.1 million. Canopy jumped 57%.

Summit Midstream Partners ( SMLP ) said Friday it sold its Utica Position to a subsidiary of MPLX for $625 million, marking the end of its strategic review process.

Shares jumped 38%, with intraday trading volume rising to more than 802,000 from a daily average of about 26,000.
