Shares surged 59% as intraday trading volume climbed to more than 100.6 million versus a daily average of about 72,000.

B. Riley Financial ( RILY ) shares surged after the firm filed its Form 10-K for the year ended Dec. 31 after a prolonged delay.

An independent audit committee investigation confirmed B. Riley and its executives had no involvement with any of the alleged misconduct concerning Brian Kahn or any of his affiliates, according to the company. Kahn was a company client who had been linked to securities fraud.

Shares soared 38% as intraday trading volume shot to more than 11 million from a daily average of about 1.33 million.

Tesla (TSLA) shares jumped after the electric vehicle maker said late Tuesday it plans to launch new models earlier than expected, softening the blow from its weaker-than-anticipated first-quarter results.

Shares jumped 11% as intraday trading volume soared to over 145.9 million from a daily average of about 100.6 million.
