02:12 PM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WiSA Technologies ( WISA ) said Wednesday it agreed to acquire the Datavault intellectual property and information technology assets of privately held Data Vault Holdings for $210 million.

Shares surged 96% as intraday trading volume soared to more than 139 million from a daily average of about 1.14 million.

Atara Biotherapeutics ( ATRA ) said late Tuesday that it signed definitive agreements to sell 758,900 shares and pre-funded warrants to investors to raise $36 million.

Shares advanced 34% as intraday trading volume jumped to 1.66 million from a daily average of about 88,000.

Byrna Technologies ( BYRN ) reported Wednesday "record" preliminary Q3 results, with revenue almost tripling from a year ago.

Shares climbed 33%, with intraday trading volume at over 1.1 million compared with a daily average of about 255,000.
