01:12 PM EDT, 09/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kaival Brands Innovations Group ( KAVL ) shares more than doubled amid heavy trading after the company said Monday that it and Delta Corp Holdings entered a merger and share exchange agreement under which both companies will become subsidiaries of a newly-formed Cayman Islands holding company, Delta Corp Holdings.

More than 159.1 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 801,000.

SolarBank ( SUUN ) said Monday it plans to develop a 5.4 megawatt DC ground-mount solar project in Broome County in New York State.

Shares advanced 20%, with intraday trading volume at 1.18 million versus the stock's daily average of about 23,000.

Uxin ( UXIN ) , a Chinese used car retailer, reported Monday a year-over-year increase in fiscal Q1 sales and a narrowing in its non-GAAP adjusted loss before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization.

Shares surged 38% as intraday trading volume climbed to more than 13.7 million from a daily average of about 29,000.
