SPI Energy ( SPI ) stock climbed 29%, extending Thursday's gain.

Lichen China ( LICN ) shares were up 24% after it said overnight it launched a registered direct offering of 15 million of the company's class A ordinary shares at $0.18 apiece for roughly $2.7 million in gross proceeds.
