07:01 AM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TopBuild ( BLD ) said Wednesday that it has acquired Specialty Products and Insulation for $1 billion in cash.

The company said the acquisition, which excludes Specialty Products and Insulation's metal building insulation business, was funded with existing cash including the proceeds from its senior notes issuance in September.

TopBuild ( BLD ) said it expects the transaction to be immediately accretive to its earnings per share and estimates $35 million to $40 million in annual run-rate cost synergies within two years.
