07:30 AM EDT, 07/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TopBuild ( BLD ) said Tuesday it will acquire Progressive Roofing for $810 million in cash, adding commercial roofing to its installation services portfolio.

The deal values Progressive at 9.1 times its trailing EBITDA and is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted earnings, TopBuild ( BLD ) said.

Progressive Roofing generated $438 million in revenue over the past year, with 70% from re-roofing and maintenance services, the company said.

The acquisition will be financed through TopBuild's ( BLD ) expanded credit facility and cash on hand, with closing expected in early Q3 pending regulatory approvals.
