11:43 AM EST, 12/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tornado Global Hydrovacs ( TGHLF ) on Monday said it is changing its name to Tornado Infrastructure Equipment effective Dec. 18 as it expands its operations into the United States.

The oilfield-services company also incorporated new entities named Tornado Infrastructure Equipment Holdings (USA) ., a unit of Tornado Infrastructure Equipment, and Tornado Infrastructure Equipment (USA), a unit of Tornado Infrastructure Equipment Holdings (USA).

"We are thrilled to announce that Tornado is working with a U.S. based partner, under the supervision of Tornado personnel, to build the company's first hydrovac truck in Midland, Texas, with completion anticipated by the end of 2024," said TGH Chief Executive Brett Newton.

Shares of the company were last seen down $0.01 or 0.9%, at $1.08 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
