TotalEnergies Acquires Solar, Battery Storage Projects From Low Carbon in England

06:53 AM EDT, 06/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE) said Tuesday it has acquired eight solar projects and two battery storage projects in England from renewable energy firm Low Carbon.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The solar projects have a 350-megawatt capacity, while the battery storage projects have a capacity of 85 megawatts, the energy company said, adding that the solar projects are expected to be operational by 2028.

TotalEnergies shares were down more than 1% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
