TotalEnergies, Aljomaih Energy & Water Awarded 400 MW Solar Project in Saudi Arabia by SPPC

06:47 AM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE) announced on Tuesday that its consortium with Aljomaih Energy & Water has received a license from the Saudi Power Procurement Company following a tender process to develop, construct, and operate a 400-megawatt solar power plant in As Sufun, Saudi Arabia.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The consortium will sell the electricity to Saudi Power Procurement under a 25-year power purchase agreement, the company said, adding that the solar plant is anticipated to connect to the grid in 2027.
