06:03 AM EDT, 03/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE) said Thursday it has started production at its plastics recycling plant in France.

The plant, located at the French energy giant's Grandpuits site in Paris, holds a 15,000-ton annual capacity, the company said.

TotalEnergies said the plant converts plastic waste from French households into synthetic oil through a pyrolysis process, adding that the technology used for the process will be provided by its partner Plastic Energy.

Shares of the company were up 2.2% in Thursday premarket activity.
