Tower Semiconductor, Innolight Expand Collaboration to Use Silicon Photonics Platform for AI, Data Center Applications

08:46 AM EDT, 03/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tower Semiconductor ( TSEM ) and Innolight said Monday they have expanded their partnership to utilize Tower's silicon photonics platform for artificial intelligence and data center applications.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The platform, now in production, lowers the number of external optical components, reduces lasers required per module by half, enhances optical module design, and optimizes cost and supply chain efficiency, the parties added.
