09:14 AM EDT, 04/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TowneBank ( TOWN ) said Tuesday it has completed the merger with Village Bank and Trust Financial and its subsidiary, Village Bank.

Following the merger, Village Bank locations will operate as "Village Bank, a Division of TowneBank ( TOWN )" until June, when the systems and operations of Village Bank are to be converted into those of TowneBank ( TOWN ).

TowneBank ( TOWN ) said the merger, which was announced in September 2024, will bolster its presence in the Richmond, Virginia area.
