07:39 AM EDT, 09/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) said Thursday it has officially launched Toyota Woven City in Susono City, Japan, as a real-world testing ground for mobility.

The project is developed jointly with Woven by Toyota ( TM ) and was first announced in 2020.

Toyota ( TM ) said residents have begun moving in, while partner companies have started co-creation activities. Participants include enterprises, startups, entrepreneurs, and research institutions developing products and services, alongside residents who will experience the products and services first-hand and providing feedback, Toyota ( TM ) said.
