12:30 PM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) unit, Toyota Motor North America, reported Tuesday sales of 162,595 vehicles in the US in September, down 20.3% on a volume basis and 9.9% on a daily selling rate basis from a year earlier.

Electrified vehicle sales totaled 78,683, up 22.4% on a volume basis and 38.3% on a DSR basis, the company said.

For Q3, US sales fell 8% on a volume basis and 5.6% on a DSR basis to 542,872 vehicles, while electrified vehicle sales increased 38.6% on volume basis and 42.2% on a DSR basis to 255,863, the company said.
