Toyota Motor Raises Share Buyback Program to $8.3 Billion

07:15 AM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) increased its share buyback program to 1.2 trillion Japanese yen ($8.3 billion), up from the 1 trillion yen share repurchase plan it announced in May, media outlets reported Tuesday, citing an exchange filing from the company.

The larger repurchase program was based on the company's recent share price levels and will remain in effect until April, these reports said.
