Toyota Motor Recalls 591,000 Toyota, Lexus Vehicles in US Over Instrument Panel Display Defect
Sep 11, 2025 10:23 AM

01:08 PM EDT, 09/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) said Thursday that it is issuing a voluntary safety recall in the US for certain Toyota ( TM ) and Lexus models, involving approximately 591,000 vehicles.

The automaker said it is issuing a recall due to the 12.3-inch display of the instrument panel going blank at startup, adding that operating vehicles with this display blank reduces the ability to see certain malfunction indicators. The company said Toyota ( TM ) and Lexus dealers will update the programming of a combination meter or replace it with an improved one.

Toyota ( TM ) said it will notify customers by mid-November.
