07:57 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) has unveiled its sixth-generation 2026 RAV4 sport utility vehicle and intends to launch it in the US and Japan this year, the company said Tuesday.

The new RAV4, or the Robust Accurate Vehicle with 4 Wheel Drive, will have three new designs including core, rugged, and sport, the Japanese automobile giant said, adding that it will be available in a choice of hybrid electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle powertrains.

Toyota ( TM ) said the new RAV4 will be equipped with the Arene software development platform, a new version of the Toyota Audio Multimedia system.

The company did not disclose the price of the new model yet.
