05:33 AM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) reported fiscal Q2 sales revenue Wednesday of 12.377 trillion Japanese yen ($80.47 billion), up from 11.444 trillion yen a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected 12.596 trillion yen.
For fiscal H1, the company posted 136.07 yen in earnings per diluted share, down from 142.15 yen a year earlier, while sales revenue increased to 24.631 trillion yen from 23.282 trillion yen.
Toyota Motor ( TM ) said it now expects fiscal 2026 earnings per share of 224.81 yen, compared with its previous forecast of 204.09 yen.
The company also raised its fiscal 2026 sales revenue forecast to 49 trillion yen, from 48.5 trillion yen previously. Analysts polled by FactSet expect 51.09 trillion yen.
Toyota Motor ( TM ) said it expects US tariffs to have a 1.45 trillion yen negative impact on its fiscal 2026 operating income.
Shares of Toyota Motor ( TM ) were down more than 2% in recent premarket activity Wednesday.
