08:06 AM EDT, 04/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) said Wednesday that the 2025 4Runner will arrive in the US this autumn.

The new version of the 4Runner uses the truck platform shared with Tacoma, Land Cruiser, Tundra, and Sequoia, with a boxed, steel-ladder frame and a multi-link coil rear and double-wishbone front suspension, the company said.

It also features a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine paired with a 48-hp electric motor integrated into the eight-speed transmission. It feeds off a 1.87-kWh battery pack that creates a total system output of up to 326 horsepower, according to Toyota ( TM ).
