Toyota to Build New Vehicle Manufacturing Plant in Japan

10:04 AM EDT, 08/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) said Thursday it plans to build a new vehicle manufacturing plant in Japan with operations expected to begin in early 2030.

The company said it plans to acquire land in the Teihoucho area of Toyota City's Aichi Prefecture and production models will be determined at a later stage.

Shares of Toyota Motor ( TM ) were down 1% in early Thursday trading.
