Toyota to Recall 591,377 Vehicles in US Over Instrument Panel Issue
Sep 18, 2025 3:51 AM

06:39 AM EDT, 09/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) is recalling 591,377 vehicles in the US due to an error in the instrument panel software at startup that may fail to display certain information, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Wednesday.

The recall covers vehicles including certain 2023-2024 Toyota Venza, 2023-2025 RAV4 Prime, RAV4, and Highlander models, according to the notice.

Failure to display critical information on instrument panel may increase the risk of a crash or injury, the notification said.

Dealers will update the instrument panel software for non-PHEV models and will either replace instrument panel or update the software for PHEV vehicles, at no cost, the NHTSA said.
