06:53 AM EST, 11/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) is recalling up to 126,691 units of the 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra, Lexus LX, and 2024 Lexus GX equipped with a V35A engine due to potential engine contamination, according to a US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notice issued Wednesday.

The notification said debris from the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, which could lead to an engine stall and loss of drive power.

The agency said the remedy is still under development, and repairs will be performed free of charge once available.
