Toyota Worldwide Sales Decline; Hybrid, EV Sales Increase

05:54 AM EST, 01/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) said Thursday it sold 10.8 million motor vehicles in 2024, down from 11.2 million a year earlier.

The car company said it sold around 1.9 million cars in Japan and around 9.0 million elsewhere.

It said it sold 4.5 million electric or hybrid-powered vehicles last year, up from 3.7 million the previous year.
