Trane Technologies Pledges to Help Reduce Embodied Carbon in Buildings by 40% by 2030

10:58 AM EDT, 09/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Trane Technologies ( TT ) , which offers heating and cooling systems for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, pledged Monday to help reduce embodied carbon in buildings by 40% by 2030.

The company said it will focus its efforts on increasing the use of environmentally friendly materials used in buildings and building equipment, including steel, aluminum, copper and refrigerants.
