Trane Technologies to Buy BrainBox AI

04:26 PM EST, 12/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Trane Technologies ( TT ) agreed to acquire BrainBox AI, which makes autonomous heating, ventilation and air conditioning controls and artificial intelligence for building.

The acquisition price wasn't disclosed.

The transaction is expected to close in early 2025, Trane Technologies ( TT ) said Wednesday in a statement.

The acquisition is expected to merge BrainBox AI's technology with Trane's ( TT ) building management capabilities to tackle global greenhouse gas emissions caused by heating and cooling of buildings.
