TransAlta Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Drop

08:23 AM EDT, 05/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TransAlta ( TAC ) reported Q1 net earnings Wednesday of CA$0.15 ($0.11) per share, down from CA$0.72 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.11.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was CA$758 million, down from CA$947 million a year earlier.

A single analyst surveyed by FactSet expected CA$733 million.

The company's shares were down 1.5% in recent premarket activity.
