TransAlta to Implement Normal Course Issuer Bid

05:13 PM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TransAlta ( TAC ) said Tuesday that the Toronto Stock Exchange has approved its request for a normal course issuer bid to repurchase up to 14 million common shares between May 31, 2025, and May 30, 2026.

During its previous NCIB, the company has repurchased and cancelled 7.96 million shares.
