10:40 AM EDT, 04/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Transcat ( TRNS ) said Tuesday it has named Mike West as chief operating officer, succeeding Mark Doheny, who stepped down from the role, effective immediately.

West currently serves as the company's senior vice president of operations.

Transcat ( TRNS ) said it will retain Doheny as a consultant to help with a transition through October.

The company's shares were up about 2.1% in recent trading.
