TransMedics Group Shares Rise as Q1 Swings to Net Income, Revenue Rises; Increases 2024 Revenue Outlook

11:58 AM EDT, 05/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TransMedics Group ( TMDX ) shares were up past 26% in recent trading on Wednesday, a day after the company posted earnings and revenue ahead of consensus and raised full-year revenue outlook.

The company reported Q4 net income Tuesday of $0.35 per share, compared with a net loss of $0.08 per share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected income of $0.13.

Revenue for the quarter that ended March 31 was $96.9 million, up from $41.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $87.4 million.

The company said it is raising its full-year 2024 revenue guidance to the range of $390 million to $400 million from the previous outlook between $360 million to $370 million. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $403.5 million.
