08:37 AM EST, 02/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Transocean ( RIG ) said Wednesday it was awarded contracts valued at about $184 million for two of its semisubmersibles in Norway.
The company said its Transocean Entourage rig was awarded a seven-well contract extension, which is expected to bring in $152 million in firm contract backlog, excluding additional services.
The extension for an estimated 365 days of work is expected to begin in Q1 of 2027, the company said.
Transocean ( RIG ) also said two one-well options have been exercised for the Transocean Enabler, adding 70 days of work that will contribute about $32 million in backlog and committing the rig through December 2027.
