Entities controlled by the Burman family -- promoters of FMCG major Dabur -- have written to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and stock exchanges that REL Chairperson Rashmi Saluja sold a portion of her personal holdings in Religare Enterprises Ltd a day after meeting a representative of the Burmans on September 20, as per PTI.

The searches were undertaken on November 24 at seven locations in Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi. The central agency undertook searches in this case first time in April 2022.

The searches included the premises of the former bank chairperson, they said. The fraud was in the name of a fictitious housing society, the River Jhelum Cooperative Housing Building Society, the officials added.
