TreeHouse Foods Expands Recall of Frozen Waffle and Pancake Products Due to Listeria Risk
Oct 22, 2024 12:13 PM

08:00 AM EDT, 10/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TreeHouse Foods ( THS ) said Tuesday it has expanded its voluntary recall to include all products manufactured at a specific facility that are still within their shelf life.

The company said the recall includes frozen toaster waffles, Belgian waffles, and pancake products affected by potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause serious infections, particularly in young children, elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.

The recalled products were distributed across all US states and Canadian provinces and packaged under various brand names, including 365 Organic, Always Save, Best Choice, Nature's Basket, Tops, among others.

The recall was expanded following additional testing at the manufacturing facility, though no confirmed reports of illness were associated with the recalled products, the company said.
