TreeHouse Foods Swings to Adjusted Loss in Q1, Net Sales Fall

07:15 AM EDT, 05/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TreeHouse Foods ( THS ) reported Q1 adjusted loss Monday of $0.03 per diluted share, swinging from earnings of $0.70 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.01.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $820.7 million, compared with $854 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $798.4 million.

For Q2, the company said it expects net sales of $770 million to $800 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect revenue of $797.7 million.

The company said it continues to expect full-year 2024 net sales of $3.43 billion to $3.5 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect revenue of $3.45 billion.

The company's share price was down more than 4% during premarket activity Monday.
