Trex Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Net Sales Increase; Shares Slump After Hours

05:56 PM EST, 11/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Trex (TREX) reported Q3 adjusted earnings late Tuesday of $0.51 per diluted share, up from $0.37 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.57.

Net sales in the three months ended Sept. 30 rose to $285.3 million from $233.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $301.7 million.

The company expects Q4 sales of $140 million to $150 million. Analysts expect $199 million.

The company expects full-year 2025 revenue of $1.15 billion to $1.16 billion, little changed from a year earlier, compared with the previous forecast of 5% to 7% growth.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.23 billion.

Trex shares fell 26% in after-hours trading.
