07:11 AM EST, 11/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Trident Resources ( TRDTF ) announced Wednesday "positive" diamond drill results from the first three holes totaling 746 metres of a total planned 6,500 meters, at its Contact Lake Gold project.

The company said drill hole CL25003 intersected 7.03 grams per tonne (gpt) gold (Au) over 43.25 meters including 30.06 gpt Au over 9.25 meters. Drill hole CL25002 intersected 2.49 gpt Au over 29.61 meters including 27.09 gpt Au over 2.21 meters and hole CL25001 intersected 0.56 gpt Au over 29.50 meters.

Shares of the company closed down 4.7% to $0.82 on Tuesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
