Trillion Energy Initiates Velocity String Program at SASB Gas Field, Turkey
Oct 7, 2024 5:11 AM

07:50 AM EDT, 10/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Trillion Energy International ( TRLEF ) , trading at the low end of its 52 week trading range, over the weekend said it is gearing up SASB gas field operations in offshore Turkey with the installation of velocity strings (VS) at this time.

The aim is to increase or stabilize production rates in producing wells, by reducing water loading. The company reached an agreement with its partner at SASB on the technical aspects of the program and was assigned operatorship on Sept 30.

"This has been a giant step forward. This strategic move underscores our commitment to maximizing shareholder value through operational excellence and innovative solutions in the dynamic European energy market," CEO Arthur Halleran said.

Trillion said it has continued to work to finalize a farm-in to earn a working and revenue interest in M46 and M47 oil exploration blocks within the Cudi-Gabar petroleum province, Southeastern Turkey.
