Trinity Capital Originates $519 Million in New Commitments in Q2

09:03 AM EDT, 07/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Trinity Capital ( TRIN ) said Thursday that it originated $519 million of new commitments in Q2. That compares with $289 million originated during the same period a year earlier.

Investments funded during Q2 totaled $365 million. That compares with $231 million a year earlier.

Trinity said it funded $292 million to 14 new portfolio companies and $73 million to 14 existing portfolio companies.

The company said proceeds received from repayments and exits from its investments totaled $196 million, which included $111 million from early debt repayments, $51 million from scheduled/amortizing debt payments, and $34 million from investments sold primarily to multi-sector holdings.
