Tripledot buys AppLovin's mobile games portfolio for $800 million

STOCKHOLM, May 8 (Reuters) - Mobile game developer

Tripledot Studios said on Thursday it has agreed to buy

marketing platform AppLovin's ( APP ) mobile games studio

portfolio for about $800 million in cash and stock.

The deal would allow Tripledot to expand its footprint in

markets including the U.S. and Asia.
